MOSCOT Mannequin Heads. You’ve seen ‘em. You know ‘em. But you may not realize that Special Edition frames call for Special Edition Heads—40 of them to be exact!

Enter MOSCOT Spring/Summer 2018: The MOSCOT Golden Era. With debut styles such as The LEMTOSH TT Special Edition featuring GOLD titanium temples, rivets, wire core and hinges, and the unveiling our newest acetate colors (Spot Tortoise and Crystal) long-time MOSCOT head-maker Eric and MOSCOT Visual Merchandiser Michael, faced the challenge of creating heads suitable to display such a momentous collection.

The two needn’t look far for the answer as the inspiration behind the new styles said it all –what’s old, is new!

GOLD for SS’18,

The two didn’t need to look far for the answer as the inspiration behind the new styles said it all—what’s old is new! Just as 5th Gen. Zack Moscot revived preceding MOSCOT classics with GOLD for SS’18, the same approach was used on our beloved MOSCOT Mannequin Heads. Thanks to the strategic decision to decoupage the limited number using black-and-white newspaper, the finishing touch of hand applied gold-foiling—quite literally—shined!

The updated metallics only made the mannequin heads that much more unique: the heads stand out normally adorned with retro newspaper strips or clippings of our very own, custom MOSCOTEER publication!
